ENTRY SUBMISSION
 

Advertising Categories

Print
Should be an art pull, mounted on black cartridge paper with a maximum 1 inch border on a firm black backing board. This entry must be supported by the original press or magazine advertisements separately mounted using cellotape and NOT spray mount. No amendments to the art pull from the press pull is permitted. The pre screening committee will check all press pulls vs. art pulls. There should be no transparent overlays, lamination or any other material to enhance the presentation. Do not include the name of the Agency on the visual.

Campaign entries must be mounted together and accordion folded. The sample label provided in the entry kit must be completed for each entry and should be fixed firmly on the reverse of the entry and the supporting original material.

A CD containing 2 folders, one with a high resolution jpeg for viewing purposes and the other with an Adobe Illustrator file suitable for printing in 4 colour if required should be submitted. Entries in a particular category could be contained in 1 CD but they must be in the order entered in the master entry form.

Radio
Must be submitted in duplicate on a high quality audio CD. Entries in a particular category could be contained in 1 CD but they must be in the order entered in the master entry form. The agency's name and contents of the CD and their respective categories must be stated on the cover of the CD as well as the CD. Credits should not be on the commercial. Each radio spot must be a separate cut. All spots should not be recorded in a continuous folder.

Television
On DVD format only and in duplicate. Entries in a particular category could be contained in 1 DVD but they must be in the order entered in the master entry form. The Agency's name and contents of DVD and their respective categories must be stated on the cover of the DVD as well as the DVD. Credits (station signals/ production house signatures, etc.) should not appear on the commercial. Each TV commercial must be a separate cut. All commercials should not be recorded in a continuous manner in a single folder.

Non Traditional Media Categories
The actual execution where practical or photographic or a DVD record of the communications. No mockups or computer print outs are acceptable. For web page designs and interactive advertising all entries to be submitted as a demonstrable continuous running CD with the web page or interactive advertising. Please clearly indicate agency name and entry details on the cover of the CD only. For the transnational category the original international reference material must be submitted.

For every submission in these categories we require material for display, which could be the actual materials or photographic references as well as material for presentation at the awards event, which could be a video submitted in DVD form or a Jpeg.

It is important to state on the material submitted which materials are for judging and which are for display and/or presentation at the awards event.

Every entry should be supported with the relevant material pertaining to that category. No one piece of material can be moved from one judging panel to another.

For web page designs and interactive advertising all entries to be submitted as a demonstrable, continuous running CD with the web page or interactive advertising. It must be on DVD or MPEG format. CDs/DVDs should not carry any agency branding..

Important Notes
All DVD records especially for the Non Traditional Media submissions must be of the minimum possible duration and must not exceed 3 minutes. All Campaign of the Year entry DVD compilations must not exceed 5 minutes but must contain all the advertising material in this submission.

In order to standardize the entries, it is imperative that the material conforms to the above specifications. Any deviations from this may lead to the disqualification of the entry.

Local language (both Sinhala and Tamil) entries should be accompanied by a direct English translation in not more than 100 words and a brief description of the idiomatic expressions. This will ensure that the foreign judges will not need to depend on translations by interpreters.

Every entry must be accompanied by an entry form completed only on the specified entry form as per the guidelines provided. Please note that the background, target audience, the desired response and other remarks must not exceed 100 words. Deviations to this requirement will result in disqualification.

The declaration form as well as the master entry form and the payment form for each section must also be submitted with the entries.

Closing dates for entries will be staggered to help with the submissions. Therefore entries will be received section by section as determined by the Judging Committee..

ENTRY FEES

Entry fees are structured in accordance with the number of entries.

Advertising: Print, Radio and TV (single entry) & Non Traditional Media categories

First entry per sub category : Rs. 1,500/-
The next 4 entries within the category, per entry : Rs. 4,000/-
Any additional entries to the category, per entry : Rs. 6,000/-

Advertising: Print, Radio and TV (campaign entries)

First entry per sub category : Rs. 3,500/-
The next 4 entries within the category, per entry : Rs. 6,000/-
Any additional entries to the category, per entry : Rs. 7,500/-

The Grand Prix winners and the Best of Show winner will be selected from the entries that have already been submitted, thus no entry fee will be applicable.

Campaign

First entry : Rs. 6,000/-
The next 4 entries, per entry : Rs. 7,500/-
Any other additional entries, per entry : Rs. 12,500/-
